The 9th Annual Special Auction for Special People will help McGuire Memorial continue to enrich and broaden the personalized educational and care needs for every individual we serve – from students at The School at McGuire Memorial to the adults and children who are transitioning from their residency in the on-site Intermediate Care Facility to one of McGuire Memorial's 19 Community Homes.
The funds raised through the live and silent auctions will help over 300 individuals with mental and physical disabilities. Proceeds from the Auction will also assist in the start-up of three new Community Homes as well as provide new assistive technology equipment for students attending The School at McGuire Memorial. Funds will also help establish a physical therapy clinic for residents of the Community Homes and provide new equipment and furnishings for the medically fragile individuals living in the Intermediate Care Facility.
