Take Part in the "Twentieth Annual Poker Run" for McGuire Memorial

Sunday, August 10, 2008, will mark the 20th anniversary of the "Concerned Bikers 4 McGuire" event, the “20th Annual Poker Run.” For two decades, the "Concerned Bikers 4 McGuire" have hosted this very special event benefiting the very special children and adults of McGuire Memorial.

You can be part of this fun and inspiring event that draws hundreds of motorcyclists from across the tri-state area. Each and every year the proceeds from this event help to make a difference in the lives of the children and adults of McGuire Memorial.

Registration will be held from 9 – 11:30 a.m. at the Holiday Inn in Beaver Falls, PA, where riders can choose from one of two routes. Both routes start at the Holiday Inn, taking riders along two scenic routes through Beaver County. The shorter route includes a motorcycle parade through New Brighton, PA, and a stop to visit the children and adults of McGuire Memorial—always a highly anticipated treat for those at McGuire Memorial and always an inspiration for the event’s motorcyclists.

A post-ride party will be held at “The Lodge” in Brady’s Run Park. All riders, along with their families and friends, are invited to join the post-ride activities which include great food, door prizes, and music provided by “Spyn Doktor."

Sponsorship forms are available (see the sponsorship link below). Riders who raise $100 or more in sponsorships will receive free registration, a post-ride dinner at Brady’s Run Park, a “Poker Run” T-shirt, and a 2008 commemorative pin. Return the individual sponsorship and registration forms with your check(s) and money order(s) made payable to:

Register early and receive the special pre-registration fee of $13.00 per rider along with a complimentary 2008 commemorative pin. All pre-registration forms must be received by August 4, 2008.

Registration the day of the event is $15.00 per rider/$10.00 passenger. A 2008 commemorative pin will be available for a $3.00 donation, while supplies last.
