Residential Services
Long known for its care and commitment to those who are profoundly disabled,
McGuire Memorial has, since 1962, provided residential services for those
with complex, multiple disabilities.
An established leader in the field, McGuire Memorial provides a compassionate,
supportive environment where individual medical, therapeutic, educational,
recreational, and spiritual needs are met.
In each of McGuire's residential programs, caring environments enhance each
person's individual opportunities for growth, relationships, and participation
in family and community life.
- Intermediate Care Facility for the Mentally Retarded (ICF/MR) is located at McGuire Memorial's main campus where those with profound chronic, complex disabilities receive an active treatment program consisting of 24-hour nursing care, medical care, educational, and recreational services.
- The Respite Program offers families professional, specialized care of individuals with significant physical and mental disabilities for temporary, short-term, or extended respite stays.
- The Community Home Program enables individuals to live in residential homes supervised by highly trained staff members who provide 24-hour-a-day medical, physical, and behavioral services
